We read this book and thought it was right on. Highly recommended for anyone going on a short term cross cultural missions trip!

'What I do you cannot do; but what you do, I cannot do. The needs are great, and none of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.' -- Mother Teresa of Calcutta

We are very excited about what God is doing in Guinea-Bissau. Over the past few months God has led several different couples together to serve with Youth for Christ in West Africa and we have decided to be a part of that team. All of the couples on the team have made a four-year commitment to work together in West Africa and we can't wait to see what He will accomplish with group that He has brought together.

The Feuchts

Jason and Erica

Jason and Erica were married in January 2009. They are currently living in Golden, CO, preparing to come to Guinea-Bissau. Erica worked with us in Bissau during a six month term there in 2007. She is a lovely complement to Emily and in time they made a great team working together on the English school. Jason has an engineering background and we're really looking forward to getting him to Bissau to help with several different building projects. They're great and we can't wait to get them over to Bissau!

The McHargues

Josiah (2), Wade, Caleb (7), Katie, and Abigail (9)

Wade and Katie have done short term missions work in many countries. They spent three years in Senegal working in Dakar and a small village planting churches and spreading the gospel. They came back to the States and have worked for the past three years in an inner city ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their hearts have always been pulled towards Africa, especially to the Muslim people of West Africa, and recently they felt God releasing them from their ministry in North Carolina and calling them back to West Africa to work with Youth for Christ in Guinea-Bissau. They now live in and are building the YFC Center in Mansoa, Guinea-Bissau. To keep up with the latest news from the McHargues, check out their blog.
